Hi Bels, Yep the newer firmware is supposed to have virtual host settings, mine was running 3.0.8 and didn't have it, so upgraded to the latest version 3.0.10 and it doesn't have it either. I'll look into the port forwarding, thank you. I've got the iVMS-4500 ap but unless I'm doing something wrong ...

It'll be saved to the NVR which can record at full frame rate, but I want to have it stored off site too. Not so worried about the quality here, as it's just for worst case scenario if the NVR is stolen.

This is different to a level 5 finish. This is done with one application and is a polished finish no need to sand. @Tim - did you find out of your friend why the multi-finish isn't used out here?

I spoke with Gyprock and they too could only talk about a level 5 finish. It's so common back in the UK, that he says it's quicker for him to skim the whole ceiling than to just do the joins.
