I quite like the clean look of having no ceiling architraves, of course we would be getting skirting architraves. My parents have build many houses without ceiling architraves and I think it gives a more modern, cleaned lined look. Does anyone else not have ceiling architraves?

Ok, so I went into Solver today and spoke with a lady who was very helpful. It could be a match to: Solver - smoke pearl Wattyl - Martini Wattle - Torte She thinks that the gutters/pipes were Dune and the roof is Surfmist. So I guess I'm just going to have to pick one :?

Michelle, no I'm not near the floods but our highway into us was cut off so no food could get in. It had to come up from townsville by barge, the shops were very empty all of that week. Our house is on a hill, so no flooding us in :D

Thanks so much for that information house-to-be, I really appreciate it, unfortunately living in Cairns it's impossible for me to visit the display houses. I've got in touch with my cabinet maker this morning to quote me on QQ Turino thanks again :D

Just spoke with PD, they won't give me the kitchen colours. Oh well, at least I know the benchtop now.

Hi, have been in to Solvers quite a few times this week trying to get our colours for our outside render. Have you looked at their Kanga or Wallaby colours? Also, Taubmans Birchstone is a close match too. Good Luck. No I haven't but we will when we head into the Solver showroom on monday. Thanks

I really love the "Urban Mocha" kitchen on the porter davis website (it's at the bottom of the page) : http://www.porterdavis.com.au/#styles I'm assuming this is a caeserstone benchtop, what colour do you think it is? I'm thinking maybe Ice Snow but it's got a tan tinge to it, I'm confused, lol. The...

hmmm, i think the garage should of been on the west wall. use reflective windows/doors on west side. We had to design a house with the garage on that side as the developers have already put the driveway in before we decided to buy. are you near the coast, are you exposed to the breezes ? Here's our...

Thanks, I really like that set up. Will chat to my cabinet maker tom and get costings  I totally agree that it's easier to get glasses/mugs out of drawers than cupboards, my parents have a similar set up and it works great. Actually most of their kitchen is made up of drawers. And does Nova Aur...
