we need to start stalking our SS schedule too! will most likely need to take a few days off work to get there in time. They have fixed most of it, but they still need to fix our staircase and a few other smaller things. Our build seems to be overly complicated for them to understand and it makes me...

We actually instructed for our wood feature to be painted.. not sure we made the right decision there seeing yours. We had to pay ...
We had to pay extra for the stained battens, worth every penny and it’s actually woodland grey painted behind them too....

Had walk through. Looking good. About 6-8 weeks to finish, maybe 10 if weather is bad. I think they need to cut that bit out where the canopy will go as we have tiles up there. But liking the look of it. The Island bench is a grey colour so yet to see how that will come together. No handles on the ...

love those sheer curtains @breebarter - did they cost much? What did you decide for the backsplash? Hey! They are made to measure from spotlight, we are getting our sheers and plantations from there. 40% off at the moment so we got ceiling drop linen sheers for our corner less stacker for $1000 inc...

You know how I am on the grey/white grout with my own tiles like these, so i'm no help there. but trust your first instinct. I'll see if I can attach a couple of photos in private message that i found in my research the other week with the exact Beaumont tiles with the grout Yes! I can see your fru...

I think everything is looking great! I’m sure once it’s done and everything comes together you’ll feel differently. So great that they’re retiling the splashback. What about a larger plain subway tile, laid in a herringbone pattern? Thanks Kailie, im feeling a lot better about the house today lol! ...

Guess who just got assigned a new Site Supervisor.... /eyeroll. I was at the house this evening to water the plants when a Valeco ute pulled up and a guy I had never met before hops out. Introduced himself and said he was taking over our build. We had no idea. He asked a few questions about what we...

I'm so sorry to hear you are feeling this way Bree. I'm sure things will change when you get to the final stages. Sometimes the house just needs painting to tie everything together! :) It's great to hear the tiler has agreed to re-do the splashback. Perhaps choose a larger style tile. Smaller tiles...
