very neat! You have a lovely herb patch. Looks so ... light and feathery! A pathetic old asparagus can't compete with that! But Spring is coming and my veggie patch will be a veritable powerhouse of nature's raw energy ! Watch this space! Yeah!

Michelle I'm worried that in answer to your question, to-do-list will make some smart-a comment like: "the meaning of life" I mean, honestly!

Been to Bunnings. Kicked tyres (wheels actually). Checked blades and generally tried to look knowledgeable to myself. I was smitten by the little black (and red) number from ECO City. She felt so good in my hands. She liked me too, I could tell. We were made for each other. What fun we'd have under ...

My small green newly potted aloha vera in a loamy sand mix is no longer green but purple and its leaves are curling and dying whereas its much smaller brother in a lick (1 cm) of soil is alive and well. Ok, seems like too much water, so I've repotted the thing in a double-lick of potting soil but wh...

Today I'm off to Bunnings in my lunch hour to look at a rare little critter I've never seen before - an electric cordless job $300. Wanna try and talk me out of buying it? I've currently got a little electric Victa $140 approx and can thoroughly recommend it. It's just that making allowance for the ...

want to show me a picture? Preferably in full bloom. Not that I want to compare, to see if mine is bigger! Hell no! Mine is quite small! Simply a case of a sawn pine rectangle, say, 9 metres by two with 4 dividers made from the same wood. But I'm very proud of it!

I think you'll just have to take a punt and dig it out and put it in the biggest pot you can with potting soil, not loam. I'm caring for two sick frangipanis planted in clay and I'm hoping mulching will soften the soil and allow better drainage. Good luck

Seriously, I now say to the agent: "I'm under orders to shut up". I think they find the situation a little disconcerting. How hilarious. Makes me realise how difficult I must make it for DH  . Your partner and I have a lot in common lol. Our builder was the salesman and did a great job of eng...

Kyiee Yep, you have a point. I loathe, detest, hate and abhor looking at houses! Missus loves it more than life itself! But what really makes me mad is that when she drags me off to look at a house, we get in the door and she races off before signing in and leaves me there to be chatted up by the ag...

I was thinking infra-red might be like a photographer's dark-room lamp which is red. Seems from my research that far from causing cancer, my infra red tastic could cure cancer! Link to the little critter is below: http://bftelectrical.com.au/main/content/view/21/38/ Where is this site's bloody nurse...

The latter, strumer, tastic (I think). And on the Internet I've read that infra red is safe but, and to possible howls of derision, the light isn't red it's white!
