13/04 We finally paid the initial 3.5k deposits. Surveys are all booked in. Managed to sneak in a studio M tour even though the whole month was booked out. Our lovely design consultant Rosa was amazing. She pointed out many ways to cut down on costs for items which weren’t so lucrative so we could ...
That is great news! You’re very lucky to get a studio M appointment so early in the process. It really helps with the f...

Can I suggest you extend your outdoor room so the pillar is in line with the side of the house? We extended ours as the Glendale usually has the outdoor room go right to edge of house, but for some reason our 'special edition' package had it like yours. You will need the extra width to have enough r...

We set ourselves a target of Easter to get the front done...just stuck in! Fence, gate and driveway slider coming soon but at least the grass is in and it looks more "finished". Not lure how long permit for fence will take (limited to 1200 high or under here in Bayside without a permit). ...
Wow! The jewel in the crown! How stunning is that!! Love your plant selection-especially the ferns😀

HI Forum Buddies, Long-time lurker but finally decided to post on the forum to get some advice on my upcoming KDR builds with Metricon. For context purposes, we have a block of land which the family has been using as an investment property for a while now, however decided to use this prime land in ...

Hello everyone, has anyone provided your own stuff during the building? I am looking to buy some smart light switches and let the electrician to install. Is this possible? Thanks Not with Metricon I don’t think. It all has to be as per your signed contract - fixtures and all to be supplied by them.

Question for anyone who has built with Metricon. Are Metricon obligated to give us a copy of site tests conducted? We have paid $1500 to have the contour survey and soil test conducted and this was done a few weeks back. We are awaiting our sales person to give their pre contract presentation but t...

Hi, I think you need a lot more lighting in each room - especially if they are downlights. Our build has 2 downlights in rooms such as study, kids bedrooms, dining. We have 4 lights in rooms such as master, sitting room, living room, rumpus room, upstairs retreat. Also, one light in your garage won'...

Hi guys PCI was today. Hours and hours of it, but hey, there's a lot to take in. So of the "issues" relating to Darbecca report, all are agreed upon. 98% are paint here and there. Very happy with the house and finish of everything. So, as promised...cue #PhotoSpam.... https://forum.homeon...
Congrats!! House looks great!! What colour is your carpet? Is it blue or grey?

All, question on response time from site manager or construction manager. Based on your experience, how long do you have wait to get a reply from your email to them? 2 or so days. If it was much longer than that I chased them! Agree. If site manage isn't responding then I guess I asked construction...
