Hi guys, New to this forum and this thread is absolutely very helpful! :) We building the Kew 28 in Mebourne's West. Absolutely disgraceful this company is ... shocking and i am really p****d off ... picked up few defects before handover and they promised they will fix it and advised me its done and to go ahead with the re-inspection and looked like a fool in front of the Inspector when he told me 90% of the defe...
That's really poor form. I'd be sending them the bill for the reinspection as well.

Work on my site has now come to complete stand still. I was told end of March PCI in the beginning of the month, but nothing has happened last few weeks. I dont have garage flashing done and therefore no ceiling nor garage door. These are the big ticket items. There are many other things inside. I ...

Hi Team I haven't been very active on the PD sites lately but thought I should get back into it again. I have posted a new blog about Shower heights and what to watch out for. Check it out at. https://forsyth35blog.wordpress.com/2018/03/25/a-short-shower/ Cheers C. So I guess I'll just chalk this u...

That's pretty common... Don't worry about the negative comments, these builders build 1000's of houses a year, and people never complain about great experiences... You're right, I find a few good tips in the groups, but there are so many "PD destroyed my entire life" posts! I guess it's n...

We are coming up to contract and our BC has just quit - we have a new one, Natalie - hoping she sticks around and is good with the whole communication thing. That kind of sounds like what everyone is doing.. Just thought will be better to use the same guy to get a little more stuff done during the build rather than after the build!!! Well, the last couple of weeks have been massive with our build project. We have finished our WOS appointments, and have our contract appointment at the end of next month. Thanks everyone... are you happy you went with hebel? We are going that way, but everyone I’ve seen on forums still think brick is better. We like the look of it but a bit worried now to be honest. When our tiles were delivered they chipped one of the alfresco posts and it looked terrible and weak....

Your bank doesn't have a branch that is closer? Also, the insistence on bank cheques is just stupid. Ask any bank employee and they'll tell you that they aren't any better than a personal cheque but for some reason businesses insist on receiving them. I asked PD about just doing a funds transfer wh...

Something tells me we won’t be having handover next Tuesday as hoped. PD still haven’t fixed the window on the ground. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180314/b9ba42f05310ed9393ed0cfd8c2c4b48.jpg There is meant to be concrete removed and a rendered wall underneath. We had our PCI this morning. SS was very accommodating with regards to the issues raised by Darbecca. All of them are minor and mostly have something to do with gutters, downpipes and internal paint. Kitchen cabinets are still incomplete but I’m not bothered. Pretty happy with how it turned out [em...

We also had our PCI, all previous issues had been rectified except some work to the render that will be done this week. A lot more paint touch ups required. We found scratches in the slider door to the alfresco and one of our big feature windows in the dining area, these are being replaced Monday o...
