I;d price it in weatherboards, pre-primed. I know there are cheaper options but at least it wouldn't look half bad when it's done, maybe a bit trendy???

can I just ask to those who have the cutlery trays, doesn't it take longer to put them in one by one in the tray, rather than drop a bunch in one go into the basket?? I'm assuming not by the sound of your posts! ??

10L for one room - phew, that's a bit. I know bare gyprock can absorb quite a bit tho. With a roller I did about 5L for one bedroom priming. I'm not a fan of spraying because I think it takes longer, but it does look better, with enamel it looks awesome! the top coat will take about 5L I think, with...

I think your BF's idea is great! and just a touch of red, or orange, or whatever colour in the curtain fabric you find, that you like, is a great idea. The room sounds like it needs a touch of some colour anyway. You only have to have one cushion with "that" colour in it, and the rooms co-...

hi there, we did a wallpaper just like this one in our hallway, one wall, and frankly I shouldn't have bothered, no one notices it. If I'd done it in a room, all walls, it would have been great, so def, imo, as many walls as possible!!! good luck mate

hi brissy, lovely plan, but if it were me I'd want my kids wardrobes double their current size. If you get that, you may not need a bigger linen, I imagine you have linen space in your downstairs laundry anyway. :D

if it were me I'd want a bit of contrast in that mix, perhaps Hogs Bristle, full strength would be enough. Maybe a bit darker. Being the backsplash, you could go with a tile, rather than glass to get a contrast, and therefore not needing to be a colour contrast, just a material contrast. just an ide...

g'day trish, you seem to be moving along nicely - WELL DONE MATE!!! as for the old pic - what an awesome pic - it's obviously the rear of the house, as there is no front door on that pic. Also, I notice the old boards on the old pic, whereas your property is bricked up and painted. Just so lucky, I ...

I just have to have this bed, it's haunted me for ages to buy it, but I have no idea where it is from. Does anyone know, or how can I ask PD (it's in their display at epping I think) I want this, not cheap copies! http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n54/Annietomdav/bits%20n%20pieces/daven12A.jpg put ...
