I've also messaged you some pics showing them in use by messy teenagers. Ours are tucked around the corner out of line of sight from the bedroom entrance so the no door doesn't bother me like I thought it might. In my signature, if you're on tapatalk, maybe its not visible from there? I'll see if I...

We have a similar size WIR's (1900x1000) with no door in our minor bedrooms. I considered changing this to a standard robe as I wasn't convinced about the no door. However the price the builder wanted to change them was ridiculous and unjustifiable. In practice they work quite well and certainly ho...

At that depth I would just go for a standard 600 depth built in robe rather than walk in robe. The extra 380 won’t be much extra in terms of storage space, and better utilised to make the room more spacious. Referring to the depth dimensions of 980mm, i f I was to increase the depth of the WIR, wha...

Has anyone got a small WIR in their plan (i.e. for a 2nd bedroom)? I am making some changes to the overall internals of my design (based on a project builder's plan), and in doing so I want to reduce the size of a WIR to Bed 4 (to allow room for other things), however, I am wondering if this has go...

Hi all, I am choosing a project builder in Brisbane. The builder offers an upgrade to 2400mm high BIRs in lieu of the standard 2100mm high robes. This comes with one top shelf with one hanging rail underneath. Has anyone found any drawers or cabinetry from IKEA (or similar) that will go well as an a...

Can anyone fill me in about what we can do about problems that pop up after a couple of years????? We've been in our house for 2 years and I've just noticed that tiles along the shower wall are cracking in a semi circle shape. There's about 6 of them and when you push on them they move slightly. As I am prospecting with signing up with a project builder (plan build is tentatively on my short list, among other builders) I have one hour to talk to you about it (actually I could spend hours and hours no hassle at all). Can you PM me? Perhaps I can leave my phone number?

Has anyone build recently with PlanBuild in Brisbane north area. I couldn't find any bad reviews lately at all. Just wondering if they are good? We built with them over 12 months ago....if we could turn back time! Can you elaborate? What issues did you have? I am in the process of choosing a builder.

A single door of 2.8m is not hard to find - if you go to a garage door manufacturer! Tilt garage doors come in standard sizes up to far greater than 2.8m, and in all sorts of different modern and contemporary finishes, and can be finished on both sides. You could obviously go for the tilt mechanism...
