You'll have the standard $250 per week liquidated damages clause in your contract, and if your build runs over the specified contract time, then they will pay. If the contract says 150 days, the only other thing to consider is delays outside the builder's control, like the one the Little Misses men...

If our builder wants to claim a delay day, they have to quantify it and write to us - they then vary the amount of days in the contract. Has this happened to you? If not, I am not sure how they can talk about delay days now..... According to our HIA contract, it said that the house should be comple...

We have asked our CSC about the delay penalty. She explained to us that this is calculated on the day of settlement and from the amoun...

There really are HEAPS of types of nylons, not only different styles (loop, modulated loop, cut, plush twist, sculpted, low profile, deep and thick pile, frieze, and more) but also different variations of yarn itself. The nylon 6.6 yarn from Invista is excellent, but then there are all sorts of oth...

It looks as though it could be an articulation (or expansion) join. Check your plans and see if A/J is marked on them in that position. If it is, it should be filled with a coloured putty/silicone to match the bricks, but I'd be checking with your SS anyway....for piece of mind! I'm sure there are ...
Thanks for your information. I just checked on my floor plan and found that the gap for A/J should be 10mm.

Hi, We are looking for carpet for our new house. We recently got a quote for a carpet with 100% nylon sisal carpets. May I ask if anyone have any comments on this material? Godfrey Hirst Nubian - $190 per linear metre, is it reasonable in term of quality and price? Thank you. Cheers, Kin

We have mentioned to our site supervisor one month ago but now they came up to tell us that they will change the pantry door size in order to fit into the entrance. I understand this to mean they are going to fit the 680 size door to the pantry entrance?. I wouldn't accept this. ::angry:: We have a...

Hi, The fixing stage for our house was supposed to be completed one month ago. However, the pantry door can't be fitted as the pantry entrance is narrower than the standard (ie. it was just 680mm instead of 720mm as standard). Therefore, we haven't approved the progress payment for fix stage. We hav...
