Hi Michelle, Our home is 6 months old and our flooring is a engineered timber (ply underneath and 2 mm French oak on top). It looks amazing but seems to be quite soft and easy to chip the top coloured layer (exposing the raw plywood colour underneath). For example I went to pick up some rubbish and...
Oaks are a bit softer than Australian timbers. I don't know the Hurtford range but 2mm is quite thin. I personally woul...

Hello Michelle, I am considering between Godfrey Hirst Supreme Touch or Highbury Place for my whole first floor bedrooms and corridor. I understand the Supreme Touch will cost more than the Highbury Place but has longer warranty. I was given the suggestion that I should spend the money upgrading my...

Hi Michelle, I am new to this forum and would love your opinion on walnut timber. I am building a 2 storey house and the flooring is glossy white tiles, kitchen is also polar white. I have add some light grey tones with the wall paint, stone bench top, carpet and brick feature around the fire place...

Hi Michelle Update: I have now applied Vivid White (Semi-Gloss) on some doors and trim, massive improvement, thank you! I'm just not sure if Semi-Gloss will be fine for the handrail on the stairs? Now I just have to work out what wall colour to do as nothing had said to me that is perfect. I have t...
Hi, yes Natural white should work. Always do your timber trims hand rails anything you touch, in a full gloss.

Hi Michelle, I hope you can help? We recently had our exterior trim painted with Lexicon Half which looks great. There is a door architrave in our garage that is a continuation of this trim so I decided to simply continue this trim internally. I also intend to apply this “white” colour to our inter...
Hi, I'd try Dulux Vivid White. Lexicon throws a blue. See how you go, get a sample pot first. Michelle

Greatly! Thank you. I've been playing with the four colorbond colours and had it down to 3. But thought i may have had too many colors too. Dune wasnt one of the three colours would you believe, but it is a colour that we both love and trust that it would work beautifully! Garden is our thing so wi...

It seems very divided out there, when we're visiting showrooms, about whether to go Laminate or Hybrid. We have a medium sized dog that runs the house, so we need to be mindful...
