Yes, you need to ask your builder to instal a batten for a future light fitting. They'll stick a globe in it and add a Chinaman's hat.... but you can then get an electrician to instal the fitting you want after handover. We had three battens added above our bench, and we managed to find DIY single ...
Thanks, kek....so in my picture shown in my previous entry, do I need one batten holder or three? Is the batten holder ...

Onebuild, I think where you've put the internal access door is where the fridge goes. Smile Kikin, the WIP addirion is fantastic. I'd put doors on the rumpus room, otherwise you'll have three living areas that cannot be close off from each other. Also, if you can't change your crossover, I'd pay to...

Thanks for your suggestion, Rod. As I'm not expert on AV stuffs, may I ask the difference among DLP, LCD and SXRD? I just heard from a salesperson about SXRD. It is a technology by Sony, is Sony good on projectors? Any recommendations? May I also ask what the pro and con for DLP, LCD and SXRD are?

I got some questions about the technial units of projectors. What do "lumen" actually mean for the projectors? Does that mean "much more lumen it has, much better projector it is"? What about "contrast ratio"? Is it the same case as "lumen"? Hope they are not the stupid questions :P Thanks.
