Why is there no wood framing before bricking? Because in WA they do double brick :) It has taken some getting used to, we were used to brick veneer with wood framing in our last build in NSW. Are all houses double brick in WA? Why?

My understanding is all wet areas needs to be screeded in order to achieve the fall required for drainage. Not sure why yours is not screeded.
