We got wide boards in Blackbutt, for around $110 a square metre for the wood, extra for laying obviously.

I just wanted to say to any Perth people who need their carpet cleaned, OMG, Ash (royal blue) did an amazing job on our rental carpets! I would HIGHLY recommend him. The carpets looked better than they did when we first moved in :) Thanks Ash, you were so thorough and the results were really impress...

Not sure what stage of building you are at, but you have very little bench space in your kitchen, and the way your pantry door is angled, it takes up a lot of room. My pantry is similar, but without an angled door, so not as obtrusive. Just a few thoughts, hope you don't mind ...

I like the idea of it, and even the look of the expensive ones. We did consider getting it, but we have a big block, and the cost was just too outrageous- even bearing in mind the water savings etc. We decided to get a bore instead, and get real grass.

Sorry, I don't like them :oops: . I don't like smallish lights though. I am a fan of either a sizeable light, or just an oyster or downlights. I think little lights in a look funny in anything but a tiny room. I hope you wanted both +ive and -opinions :oops:

I chose semi gloss because I was told high gloss shows up too much dirt and scratches, especially as we get a lot of light in the areas where the floor boards are. The semi gloss looks amazing.

Tiling, skirting and carpet finishes today. Painter going to finish painting the skirtings tomorrow. I have been really lucky to find brilliant tradies who were willing to work weekends to get the jobs done. Moving truck booked for Tuesday!!!
