Try and do it direct with the electrician to avoid any variation costs would be best, might avoid some builders margin there too.

At least they're not 2400 ceilings! We love our 2700 ones - so glad we asked about them. Our builders standard was 2550 as well.

Looks like you'll still need a 4x4 to get up there when it's wet?

We tried, but most wouldn't even quote to build our design without us engaging a draftsperson or architect to draw up the plans first so we couldn't even get an idea if we could build it on budget or not.

They would have spent a lot of time squaring up the walls and putting the top plate on (they have to do that before the trusses go up)
