We were only charged a $59 connection fee as we'd dug our own trench, laid the conduit, and already had the little telstra box thingo that goes on the outside wall. Oh really? But we already have phone point in the home...and according to our contract, it said "provide Telstra underground telephone connection" which costs $250.... If we need to pay Telstra for connection ($299 for a new phone line), where is the point we pay our builder for it? Are they *** us? ...

May I ask if you know how much it would appro charge for such downlights? I doubt my builder charged me with the "low voltage" one but installed 100mm downlights.... Anyone know how much the 100mm downlights cost?

i believe it is the new energy savers.. i was told of these coming in for new basix rules.. dont know if thats true though.. the other thing they told me was you cant put dimmers on them... please dont tell me there is no cover for it.. or i wouldnt be happy. the project home you saw was probably b...

What about the letter of Practical completion? Our contract (ever so unclearly) says that once we receive it, that's it (I gather it means no more fear for them of the liq. damages) !?!?
