Welcome Milk_Man! you got some chilli plants for me yet? I can give you a tomato plant or two :) I do actually! I've saved you a couple of Jamaican Scotch Bonnets, and there are some Asian Birdseye you can have as well if you are keen. Awesome! Will need to arrange a trade this week :)

Aphids are terrible this year in Melbourne :([/quote] You could always pop over to my house and collect some of the many ladybirds I've seen on a few of my plants, they feast on aphids when they are mating. I've got a heap of lady birds now - it was a bit late though for when I really needed them b...

This is how the bed ended up - with only 6 corn plant...

Get organic soil or compost or a mix but make sure it's organic if you can. Don't get mushroom compost - it burns the plants if it's too strong - my neighbours can only now grow things 2 years later after making that mistake. Can you dig into the shale at all? If so then get the soil delivered and g...

Mirco Bros here in Perth. Elders Landmark a few City Farmers shops. I checked Micro Bros, Elders and Landmark on the net and I'm getting nowhere. I live in the hills...

I was advised of this when I bought my block, but that was a while ago now and staff may have changed but it was also picked up by my conveyancer...

Cost are kept to a minimum and food bills are offset by growing things your self. Most readers will be in new areas a...
