We looked at that too. At 900 was wider than we needed for most things so we'd be heating wasted space. It would also take longer to heat. We went with 2x 600 ovens. 1 higher speced than the other so we'll use 1 as a main oven and the other for the less messy stuff.

I grew up with one in the house. Both my wife and I prefer warm water so we got a fride without it. ;)

Perhaps more air to the cavity would work better than filling it up. ;)

In Sydney & it's about 15m to the house from the street for us. AGL will install to a gas meter for $125 incl. the meter. The plumber does the rest.

We're doing a similar thing. Turning the house around so the living space is out the back and the beds in the front. We think it makes sense if we live in it long enough to justify the costs of replumbing the bathroom n kitchen. What did you use to make the plans?

We're having 1.3 - 1.5 m between benches. We have 1m in our unit and it's a too tight with 2 people in the kitchen.

We have a Bosh and it's so noisy I'm going with Miele next time. So be careful which Bosh you choose.
