Building A New House

Certainly dearer per sqm for us to go custom, but we also got to set the size of rooms, layout etc to match how we wanted to live rather than just picking the most suitable plan. It's a big gamble, cause we dropped about 15sqm in total floor area to go custom for the same money (at the same specific...

The 'whole area' is massive. Not going to happen :) I'll just stick with trying my best to match it.

That's a cool idea.... Please excuse my naivety, but which solvents would I need to test the samples with? As a general rule, can you patch sections like I need to and have it look reasonable?

We had to sign a form saying it was US that had engaged the services of the inspector our builder arranged. The inspector said it was a requirement that a builder not be able to specify a private inspector of their own choosing to avoid the sorts of things you are concerned about.

They are very poorly paid contractors. It's obvious what's going to happen in that situation, they get in and out as quickly/cheaply as possible so they are actually earning some money.

From the picture it looks like the bricks on either side of the gap are not in line. They need to fix it. I cant lay my hands on it right now, but on the fair trading site there is a doc showing how far out of plumb etc bricks can be.

The only way a bidet would be better over paper is if it included a soapy wash. Water is indeed a detergent, just not a great one. Hot water is a better detergent than cold.

Do honestly think the mods would delete a user with a hundred odd posts or more just because they don't have an avatar. Give the mods some credit. What is reasonable and what was stated are 2 different things, hence my query. Of course we can all only rely on memory now that the post has been edite...

1. Read post. 2. Engage brain. 3. THEN reply. I don't see what it is about my statement suggests I didn't understand the post? It's very odd for any forum to even actively encourage avatar use... so it's no wonder people are a bit surprised by this thread.

Is this for real? You're really planning to use lack of an avatar as a method for determining 'real' users?
