Looks great. It's more exciting when you get closer to the finishing stages. Looking forward to see more photos on the progress of your build. Enjoy the journey 😊

I am wondering if bedroom door, walk in robe and ensuite door within a room need to match? They do in our house, but mostly only you and your partner see the doors inside your bedroom, so if you can live with it, spend the savings elsewhere. Thanks arcadelt, here's the sample drawing. The red ones ...

Thanks Bebbsy and Michelle, helps me a lot with my decision making. I'll go for matt laminate.

Just an update that the request to move the wall has been declined. I was told that no structural change in the production. Anyway, I should be happy for what it is now. Lesson learned, when making some changes with the lay out of your home, review the heating stack position once they send back the ...

I'm confused which one to choose, whether the gloss laminate or the matte one (with grain texture). The gloss laminate looks nice but is it much better in the long run (appearance and practicality)? We're installing it in our first floor of the home as we cannot have carpets (allergy). Thanks

If you really like it and you have the budget, go for it. This was something that we really wanted but didn't opt for it in our first build. We are planning to build again and this is one of the must have for us.

Looks nice, you'll be in your brand new home soon. I love those dark bricks. May I know the colour? Thanks. The bricks are Blackberry by Austral Bricks (Wilderness Design). Thanks, great choice!

Nice curtains. Did you have them custom made? Yes, through Into Blinds. I was going to diy but those windows are huge. Great choice. You still have the privacy but the sun shine can still go in. The texture looks classy.

Laminate is fine, but make sure you choose one of the water proof laminates from either Quickstep or (Signature's) new 12mm laminate, have to say I'm a fan, its a good laminate! (Signature) https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/1161_1549961510.jpg Great thanks Michelle, I have noted that.

The heating stack probably aligns with a vent or series of cutouts for running the ducts. If you haven't paid deposits, etc I'd be curious how they're already in production for the framing Thanks Drew, probably that is the reason why it cannot be relocated. I have just emailed them again if relocat...

The heating stacks are aligned to those on floor above/below. Hence it has been deemed a structural change. Thanks IamSAM, I don't see heating stack below it. I have contacted our CSR again if she can request it to be changed. I'm waiting for an answer. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/85195_15499261...

Have you signed your final contract with M? Usually you can do this if you haven't yet signed your contract and paid your 5% deposit. Thanks shokel, we aren't with M. We are building with Burbank. Is a structural change normally not allowed even if you haven't been to colour appointment? I've asked for a minor structural change (move heating stack to next side to make good use of the space better) and was told it's already in the production and cannot be changed. Some builders normally allow ...
