So it turns out the pump was faulty or became clogged with channel debris. It was not sucking hard enough to even become primed. I have taken it in for repair and will probably need to add a filter in the line.

There is no check valve the line inlet pipe connects to the channel pipe which draws from a water channel. I have no access to the actual channel but the line I connect to is flooded to a certain height (about 15cm below pump level).

Hello everyone, Anyone with experience with water pumps, advice would be appreciated. I have a Grundfos Scala 2 water pump connected to a channel water supply pipe about 40m away using 1-1/2 inch rural poly. The pump is not that high above the water supply and ¾ of the line is flooded. When I start...

I would love some advice guys and girls - I dug a hole at my place about 40 cm down to find my home copper water pipe which is capped for a future shed. The pipe comes out from the house and under a new concrete path. My hole was not far from the path. It hasn't rained much in the past 2 weeks and ...

So I was digging today because the landscape group put gravel over my future connection to shed (water and power) pipes. I found the pipes. It was very tough clay on top, but about 30-40cm down right next to the pipe it was so soft and wet that i didnt even need to push the shovel. It was not like t...

Hi all, Got a hard one - have read over contract and the HIA rules but its just not clear. We received our FIXING invoice. If we pay this we will only have 10% left to pay. The plaster, skirting , architraves and cupboards are done as described in fixing stage. The contract also says - basins and ba...

So noticed the cupboards installed today but there is about a 3-4cm gap between the wall and the cupboards on one side of the kitchen (like they measured wrong)... We couldn't get in for photos but are considering waiting to see what they do before asking the question. Should this be re-done or is a...

Hello again, We have a skinny ensuite where our double vanity at 1600mm (small) has 2 undermount sinks which will leave very little bench space. Our builder has designed tiles on each wall beside the vanity which is practical for splashing I guess. My question is from a looks perspective it wrecks t...
