I really like your plan - especially the large pantry and the activity area. Good luck with your build.

Have a look at Qasair's website - they have a couple which look similar. Reckon they will be expensive though!

Don't apologise Superwill - it is not ignorance. Building is a mysterious and frustrating business!! I think the reason why you can't work out a standard timeline is because there isn't one. Every situation is different. Sounds like you are building in an established suburb so the land will be regis...

Here are a couple of photos where there is a gap between the top of the tile and the ceiling. I think they both look good. But you could of course go right up to the ceiling also. [ http://imageshack.us/a/img839/4761/boutiquez.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img690/5280/bathroomqx.jpg

Cabot's do an outdoor furniture oil. You could also stain it before oiling if it is really grey.

Silkwort is a lovely colour, definitely a blue grey. I have just googled new basmati - I would say you need a cool white as it looks grey. Maybe vivid white?

Dulux whisper white has a nice grey tone to it. I don't know what Essastone basmati looks like but you need to decide if it is a cool (I.e grey/blue) white or warm (I.e Yellow/beige) white that you need.

Here in WA it must be fenced or covered with plank & mesh. I would imagine regs would be similar in NSW.

I would say it is fairly standard practice to ask for proof of ability to pay. After all it is large amounts of money involved. No business gives credit without credit checks.

It looks good but the fridge looks a bit odd just out there on the end. Would you consider swapping places with the oven?

I suppose it depends on what type of entertaining you do, but personally I think the entry table looks much better.

Perth build times are usually longer than eastern states - I think it is because of the double brick walls.
