I assume you've checked out youtube ? Living Big in a Tiny Home has several big, rather than small trailer off-grid studies, and has lots of content for you to consume. for agerage, it may be best building offsite. (i dont have anything to do with this guy or his content, but have been following him...

Looking absolutely stunning in the landscape. Well done mate. Sometimes all it takes is paint to bring things to life. We all know the journey is far longer.

Like Hispeed. Also, keen to know how the exposed plumbing and reinforcing was fixed in the slab. In my case, i was like a hawk every day during the slab, site prep, augering and bulk filling filling piers, reinforcing, formwork etc. I was actually present during the pour, so was happy to see the rei...

Tender stage will confirm site costs and for the most part all things related to the structure and exterior finishes. Interior selections have no impact to the tender process as they state the inclusions are based on the standard selections. Thereafter you get variations for the interior selections ...

Is it safe to have the form exposed from the slab like that? The foam on the face of the slab is to be bricked. They simply burn or smash the foam to reveal the void. Personally, it was a crappy job on my alfresco and I chipped it all off and rendered it. Stupid idea with waffle slab.

Just the wrong season to expect growth of buffalo turf. Sir Walter is pretty tough, but it is a warm season grass like all buffalo. You will always see dieback in turf rolls so nothing to worry about with the brown patches.

Not one or crowds of people will give you 100% hindsight. In my case, time, budgeted for 9 month's rent and waited for 16 months for the build. Weather, trades, perfect storm in the building boom of 2016. Your time will be different as you've got a different builder in a different location and diffe...

..... Also received our 2x Sonos Five in mail today as it’s the official launch day for their new products in NZ. We will place one of each vertically on each side of the cooktop towards the end of island as possible and play them in stereo. These sound amazing. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/69242...
My first Sonos was a play5. They are the best single speaker in the family. Even better as a stereo pair. I’ve got just...

Remove coral from your list. Ive never heard anything good about them on this forum. Stick with the older crowd like Metricon, clarendon, etc that have been doing business for several years. Don't gamble such a large investment with businesses that are simply unknown and risky.

I would suggest Lilly Pilly. Looks like you need some privacy for that corner block. Cascade or resilience australe species. Both will establish some decent height and density in 2 years. Advanced specimens could fast forward to 1 year. Anything that overgrows the path and driveway will deter animal...

Just prune the damaged stalks down to main stalk leaving about 1-2cms space from the 'trunk'. Use a sharp flat blade kitchen knife if the tuber is thick, just to make sure you get a clean cut. Minimise the surface area on the stalk ( cut perpendicular ) as they lose moisture for a while due to the c...
