Check your local council DCP and LEP requirements if you haven't already. Some councils apply tight conditions when changing elevation near shared boundaries, so DIY may not fly-even if only 0.6m high.

Not sure as it all happened so quickly. There is about 8m on the side between the slab and the fence. I am more worried that the fill under slab wouldnt be contained as there is no DEB like the other side and would be washed away. So this is the site plan i have noticed they have done DEB on one side and part of the back side but the rest of the house is left without DEB just trying to find out the reason behind it.
