Thanks! It's been a loooong journey! We paid or $1,500 deposit around November 2019, and with all the Covid stuff last year, it has dragged out far longer than expected! Not long to go from now. Mine started 2 weeks before Christmas. Snap lockdown slowed down the build. https://forum.homeone.com.au...

Now we are at the waiting stage. Contract signed, submitted to bank. Planning permit submitted to council. Hopefully everything will be approved. Congratulations mate. Hope everything go well from here. I have just signed my contract as well. Hopefully will start construction new year time.

We would have had less backyard with the bigger house, and the balcony would need a 1.7M high screen, so no views! The curved staircase is standard (it's on the standard plan) but the finish components are extra. Standard is carpet, but you can have wooden, stained, and a choice of fancy balustrades or the standard straight bars. We got quoted for Vic Ash stain and painting, it looks like the display house one ...
