Bit of an idea here. Depends on how handy you are with the tools. Or if you've got a favourite handy person. Love the language of carpentry! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMiTdVM7bik

Nah, not saying anything at all about your home, Inv. Looking good. Just that another poster was asking about cost of the 8G. Some blokes will just stick in the cheapest builders' door and then chase up a more opulent unit later. Some bargains around, particularly with state of the building industry...

Builder is in the process of fixing issues highlighted by the inspector and now have done this to fix the frame overhanging issue at the front wall. They have dynabolted some treated pine to the slab and according to them it is their engineered approved solution. Not sure how reliable this solution...
And how does the Termite Protection Warranty align with the fix?

World Bank is onto it all, after the meeting in Quito in Eccquador a year or two back. Pages 15/17 really resonated when referencing our local building environment. Big coffee and easy chair recommended for a full read. I only skimmed. http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/441811501048256212/pdf...

My solicitor advised that Stockland has requested for S66W certificate (Cooling off Wavier). Is it the case with everyone. Or is it a good idea to negotiate with stockland regarding this. Please advise See Australian Financial Review and their Stockland comments yesterday.

What a total Rodger, this Sej bloke is certainly proving himself to be. One moment praising old Alex, next getting stuck into Alex's Mum 'cos Sej doesn't agree with Alex's ideas. And this coming from Sej, a character who can't even control his own build. He certainly can't control himself when it co...

My Grandad really liked those switches that were on the ceiling with a cord dangling down. Thought they were the bees-knees, they were. Used to get the neighbours in to admire them. Ah, those were the days, eh.
