We built on a slab (standard inclusion). I imagine it would be an extra and not included.

Is this with the kitchen next to alfresco. Yes, the kitchen bench is opposite six sliding stacker patio doors leading out to a future alfresco area as shown in this photo (taken during construction). https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/80562_1538970725.JPG

So, we are getting close. Some hiccups along the way and some poor design issues we are currently battling with (see bathroom towel rail photo). Sooo many delays. Ok, so I have had my second go at colour selection - just wasn't happy with our choices. To be honest, I think having to be pressured to make all the decision in the one day is stressful and exhausting, not to mention a tendency to go overboard. So, in the interest of creating a great kitchen, we h...

Hi MicknCi, I'm building with Simonds Flinders in Gold Coast. We are almost the same in pace and my slab had been poured last week. What are the white pipes in your slab? are those slab piers or pluming pipes? Hi, Larry No, just the plumbing pipes. How have you found Simonds so far? I realise we ar...

We just finished building the Simonds Flinders. We got the keys this week. I think the Rio is roughly the same size. Our site started in November so about 5 months keeping in mind that that included Christmas and Easter breaks. That's awesome! All the very best for your move. We have reached the sl...

We have plumbing! It has taken nine months to get here - Simonds seems to move very slowly even with our land fully released from the beginning. Our estimated completion date is 8 August. We shall see! https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/80562_1524732339.JPG

Hello! Great to hear from you. I fell in love with the raised ceiling and butler's pantry in the Rio kitchen and I was sold! And, you guessed it, both options are extra. We intentionally saved elsewhere by keeping to the standard inclusions, i.e. tiling - except did pay for additional wall tiles beh...

Hi, the rio looks lovely! Portland facade seems to be pretty popular in QLD, so far I have seen at least 6 houses in my neighborhood with it. Site was cut on the 23rd of August and then slab on the 30th, so we will have handover within 3 months 😄 I believe Simonds is a good builder, so if everythin...
