Not all floor waste gullys have that removable water trap. It all depends where the actual trap is. More often than not it's after the gully. Did you get a plumber to inspect? Thanks for the advise. It was also better for us to call the private immediately. a company that does this and it will help you with this. Because waiting a year for a response is too much! Further investigations by who? Might just be a filthy waste, stick your arm in and see what you can pull out. Better yet, call a plumber and have them check. Thanks for the advise. Had this checked by plumber and confirmed water trap was missing.
