Well, settlement was supposed to be tomorrow - but the bank has stuffed up, so now it's back to being Monday! Apparently the bank separated our loan into two lots... one for land and one for construction. But they put too much into construction and not enough into the land. Their excuse was we shou...

You're the second person I've heard who's doing the flooring after handover. Do you get much of a credit by doing it that way? We were only going to get 10k back for both carpet and tiles so we're doing ours through Clarendon because doing it after would've cost way more...tiles alone we got quoted...

Ryalls we are going to get the local Jim's guy to do our walkthrough inspection. We've spoken to them a few times and they seem pretty good! Today I am done, I am so over the whole thing. Didn't help the electricians were supposed to start fitout today and after waiting for them to turn up for 45 minutes I find out they changed jobs around and now won't be there until tomorrow. I had all the heat lamps etc for the bathrooms and pendants...

WEEK 32! PCI! We had PCI this morning and the house has really come together [emoji3] Handover next Friday!!!! Lots of little paint issues. We have an outdoor tv point with no PowerPoint and probably won't be getting one. Downlights aren't in alignment but SS thinks they're fine so won't fix them. ...
