I notice you removed the alifrost doors and got a credit. Did you remove the doors completely or just change the doors to laminex? I've been told I need to pay to switch from alifrost to laminex, even though I have paid for the upgrade to alifrost doors in a package! Confusing! Hi ftdt7882, we have...

ok, thanks for posting as I am 90% sure we wouldn't have thought of it! Not a problem, glad I could help. Other things to consider are colorbond downpipes which also are not included as standard.

Corinthian Front Door (hardwood timber 2400 high, 910 wide + 1/4 infill on hinges) $1,036.00 This was taken out of my post above. The model we went for is the Corinthian Madison PMAD104 in a tempered hardwood timber.

Imlost and Chrystee, thanks. So you both went for a similar door and had them stained-Imlost, Corinthian told me the doors beginning with P are primed, but you can get basically a timber veneer, is this what you are getting? I don't mind those doors with a little bit of glass, I guess I could have ...

So, reading neilrosh's comments in this and main PD thread, the energy rating came back and it was deemed that more insulation was required to bring it up to 6 star. My question is, is this a common thing due to sisalation only on walls? Or do most energy reports pass the 6 star raing requirements?...
This also happened to us during our contract appointment, but it was due to us changing some of the windows from half h...

Excellent, thanks I'm lost. I wanted to include it but my SC says its expensive to do so, and that we're better off going with the solar promotion at 4k. Right, off to email her again and insist on quote for upgraded insulation What is the solar promotion your talking about? I have not been made aw...

Are you dealing with the SC's from Mernda. We did, and they were a big part of why we decided to proceed with Porter Davis after intially having a really bad experience with a different Porter Davis SC at a different display village. Anyways back to answering your queries. We we're shown 1 standard,...

Yes, definitely worth a walk through. They have bolero flooring in the livingstone too, so great to see it in full. Where are you building? Building in Highlands, Craigieburn. Hi Meowsy, ABS edging here. Saw it on a display home of another builder (would have to look through my photos to confirm where), and do not believe we will have an issue with white silk finish and ABS edging.
