Advice needed: heating for bathroom.

I personally dont like the type of heat from teh tastic lamps... I like the actual air to be warm. I dont think there is an efficient way to acheive that though. In my current old ******* house I use a little space heater thing (you know, a toaster with a fan :)) but I dont want that in my new place.

Thanks for the input. I really wanted to have a wider entry area to open things up more there, but I cant see a way to do it without adding oodles of floor area to the plan. Will fix those doors thanks. Re main b'room, good point but when I was tossing up the options I compared it to most of the pla...

Wouldn't that mean I'd have to run the hall 'through' one of the secondary bedrooms, or have I misunderstood?

Thanks for the time put in folks! I really need my study - I spend a significant portion of my time at home in there. North is at 45 degrees to the garage. ie If the plan had the laundry end at 12 o'clock and the study end at 6 o'clock, between 1 and 2 o'clock is North. So you can see why the living...

I like that idea except for one thing - the formal lounge is actually more of a theatre room, so even though I think it'd be great to have a setup like you've suggested, I intend for that room to stay largely enclosed and darkish. I need to label all the rooms, but the image is very 'busy' with info...

I wouldn't be using that myself. They usually start to gum up with dust and cause a worse problem than when you started. Following the example of power car windows, grab a little bottle of graphite powder from Bunnings and squirt that around a bit and see how you go. It is completely dry and wont at...

Did this topic just change to "buying Aust jobs"? I thought we were discussing the potential toxicity of imports.

I was concerned by this topic and weighing up whether I should use the system again in our new house. I wasn't concerned about using it based on quality or ...

OK ,then dont you think that what has been said so far would give you an indication of the TOXICITY of the foreign product . That is what this discussion is trying to achieve I thought. To try and determine just what the facts are in regard to the products brought into question. So far we have some...

We were all set to go for a wall oven setup, until we realised my short wife couldn't reach over the door when it was open. The very small selection of ovens with side opening doors seemed a lot more expensive.

Maybe if we start the build off using our cash then ask for a reno loan instead....do you think that would work Think council would be the biggest hurdle in that option.
