For schools and restaurants you will need to travel at least 10-15 mins to either Caroline Springs or Melton. These things will e...

Hey guys, two questions. 1. What kind of film would you recommend we can install after handover to windows in our galley and west facing stairwell to block out heat? Has anyone done this with their build? Just worried about the heat, particularly in the galley and causing food to spoil. We did think...

A copy of what the report looks like: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170416/b8694ab2548e55f4e010cc8b0411417f.jpg My understanding of the energy report is that they input every measurement of each room, each colour you have chosen for render, roof, each window measurement etc and then the report...

Lexicon will throw a slight blue. You should use the same white on all surfaces, that should be as white as what your builder will allow you to use. Brilliant white... Welcome to the forum! Love your tile choices, especially the marble. We just had our colour selections today and will be upgrading our carpet also! Some of the standard stuff in the builders range is like cardboard lol. Gotta have something a little plush! [emoji5]

That's frustrating Kiki! Yes you'd think they'd bend over backwards to fix their error.

Yay for pendants and stone Kiki, but bummer they've scratched and mucked one up. Looking forward to seeing pics though. I know what you mean about the tiles. I can't wait to see ours either, though secretly I'm a bit scared to also as we kept it simple. (read affordable). Would have loved to have so...

I'm a bit lost at the moment trying to work out the best lights for outside the home! We would like some up-down lights on our portico pillars but not sure whether the more expensive options such as marine grade or LED are worth it? Surely all external lights are rated for outdoor use, though is a h...

Has anyone got one of these? If so, thoughts? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170825/3ff531e87274b178fc7aab2bd5e027de.jpg Definitely don't want to be mucking around with pulling out and setting up a full sized iron board each time I want to quickly press something. Or is it better to upgrade to a...

Hi all. Quick question. What is a good amount of clearance to have each side of the fridge - enough for a fridge to fit comfortably without there being too big a gap each side? We are still at frame stage and I’ve measured 15cm clearance gap each side of our fridge. That seems a bit much to me. If s...

Actually try googling "sea green glass mosaic subway tiles". Had a quick look for you (cause I love subway tiles too [emoji6]) and came across these sites. Overseas suppliers but I think what you are after. http://mercurymosaics.com/shapes/field-subway-tile/ http://www.rockypointtile.com/p...

Hi Amber Hubby and I have almost finished building our first home with Metricon. We also have chosen the Macquarie Chocolate brown tile from Boral. I must admit I was also a bit disappointed with the look of it once the roof was on, It does look a lot lighter than in the showroom. Which brick did yo...
