My builder's studio has a glossy finish but I am aware that scratches can be visible on such surfaces. Is it cheaper than vinyl wrap? Can you recommend...

Then went to a flooring specialist where timber floating floors also had the same sitn... I also learnt that nowadays the tre...

I do not have the exact figure but it will be roughly 80per sqm installed. I have a quote of 9k for whole of upstairs which was about 12 K for top of the range laminates and even more for floating floor timber. Hope this helps. VP

Good to read this post. I am still not quite sure about the colour trends. I personally so far I have liked light neutral colours and added colour with the furnishings. we will be building in the next 2 months or so and are soon to go to the builder go for the colour visit. Today I have been to Aust...

Thank you all for your feedback. Do they provide with points upstairs as well. One can then have the openings in areas of poor access and those that require frequent vacuuming. I picked a brochure from Home ideas centre which had a pretty clever design for the kitchen. I will have to compare what Il...

Quantum quartz has wider range of modern colours with sparkly bits. Caesar stone resembles polished stone aggregate to me.. perhaps I am being a bit judgemental but it is purely a cosmetic choice I think. they are both manmade solid surface benchtops.go with what colour range makes you feeel happy. vp

I would also love to have solar electricity in the house I am about to build. I got a lot of brochures on it and the cost is about 13K with approx 3K govt rebate. This will still blow my budget but I am keen to get it few years down the track. Casa, do you have any info whether it makes a difference...
