Average rates in the area are $350 a week for the same property (recently renovated), but I have it out for $300. 8kms from the city in a quite neigh...

Can I get a survey of people who are building and or have built in new estates to see the level of internet (i.e. ADSL) servicing they have? I heard some developers have paid for fibre to the node to support some estates but not others?

"The approved documentation for the dwelling showed that a 1.8 metre window was to be installed next to the garage door. So what is there now? I thought there was already a window? Or is that not a 1.8m window?

I'm wondering if I should colorbond our patio extension to the alfresco. Just to simulate the sound of rain on a colorbond roof when we want it without having to hear it inside the house if we don't want to. I do admit feeling a bit of nostalgia when I hear the sound.

We have built in The Chase estate in Berwick was told that there was broadband access, so we had data points installed during the building process. Our new house has tinting on the front - not sure what kind although I know it was appiled to the window not made in the glass. Its very good for reflecting the sun and saving your carpet and furniture. No one can see in during the day - must go out tonight and see if it is still blockout with the ...

Agreed Vanderlay - our home is 50sqs but only 4 bedrooms - we like to think that should something ever happen to either sets of our parents they can move in with us - or alternatively DH would be perfectly happy to have our kids live at home forever  he lived at home until he was 30yo and woul...

I have read so many jolly posts in this website forum from people who are just venting, or stating how they feel about something, and that's all I was doing: stating how I personally feel about something. Disadvantaged populations the world over - you only have yourselves to blame! :? Come on - its not that simple!!!! Seeing people like Steven Hawkings...
