Hello APB09, Just found this site/forum that you started looking for some Umbra estate new home Builders. We have a block in stage 2 which as far as im aware is in the process of being title. Its a guessing game to see which house from stage 1 will be completed first. Are you stage 1 or 2 ?

We to are down near the bottom of the estate also, we are on greenhaven drive. Henley homes are nice! They were in our top 3, I liked the display houses which are up the road . We to are going double story! It also increases the back yard for the kid even though the park is just 30 to 40m away. The ...

I do agree. I would have at least said 1200mm. When you do drive around through other estate without front fences i do like the idea of the fence as it will finish off the estate. It makes it nice and neat

Once you have titled there's usually a two weeks gap before settlement day, this is for yourselfs and the banks to get sorted. The title office averages 2 weeks for title but this also could blow out a little bit.

The land was finished 14/12/16 (no more work from the developer). The developer handed the paperwork to the titles on the 2nd of February and we received titles on the 27/2. Then 2 weeks more for settlement to take place.

Hi, I spoke with Metricon today to ask and they have already received soil test and surveys on the property – only waiting on further service information and Title on the land. Title would have to be near! Did you mention to Henley that they can submit the plans to the developer anytime ( as long as...

Yep, we also settle yesterday! I spoke to Metricon and they were looking to finalize everything, waiting on some services, could be the same things? But looking to hand it over to their construction team mid to late April. So i would estimate that we would ......possibly...... start mid May. Hoping ...

I agree with you and you are the one paying to build the house. If the grout was white then its fair enough. Unless the silicone default colour is white and you were not told you can change this colour. I do feel metricon aren't the best at telling you about all your choices. It look nice but a matc...

The question that needs to be asked is ......can you look passed it or is it going to eat you up? If you can look past it - its silicone and it looks fine and does its job. Or you can ask to change it

Could i ask what is PCI? Thanks in advance. PCI is supposed to be final walkthrough when everything is finished and you mark any issues for them to fix prior to handover. Ours was so big that we have to do PCI again once they have fixed everything up. Hoping there won't be many issues picked up at ...

Hi, Thanks, Just did! Metricon call me today to tell me of this one off 'payment'. So, all I have left is to wait for the final Metricon house drafting drawings and the final sign off on our inside colours. So true. Let's hope its all good news! We had to extend the front of the house as it was only 600mm in front of the garage not the 1000mm that they wanted. 2400mm was the standard size of the bottom floor roof height, we needed to raise to meet the 2550mm requirements. They were the biggest changes ...
