Thanks SaveH2O, I was hoping you might respond to my post. The tank manufacturer is Kingspan and that diagram is from their brochure. It should be fairly easy to get the pump raised. My builder is Rawson and from what I've seen of their installations the inlet piping will be more like this... https:...

I agree, if you have ducted A/C then it looks like it could be the condensate drain from the indoor unit. Ours has two pipes, one appears to be a main drain connected directly to the indoor unit itself and there also seems to be a secondary drain from a drip tray located under the indoor unit in the...

In our experience some builders don't understand NBN requirements very well which makes it worth seeking clarification of what they're proposing for "NBN ready" before they do it. For instance we had the reverse problem from you. We live in an area that has HFC NBN which uses the existing ...

I have found a potential house to build that I really love. The only problem is one of the kids rooms shares a wall with the main living area. Which also happens to be the wall that the TV will be on. Has anyone soundproofed a wall using a volume builder before? What are some potential options? Tha...

He actually said you can fit it technically. We'll see how we go on our next meeting. I really like the leaton. Can I ask why didn't you go by stretching the leaton to a double garage? We were looking more seriously at the Ariel than the Leaton. But for both of them, on a 12.19m block you'll have t...

Ok thanks. I wanted to have the grand alfresco and home theatre add on for the Leaton 28 but looks like I can't unless I modify quite a few things downstairs? Or upstairs. Leaton 28 without that option is 261.8sqm. The add on adds an extra 27sqm which is over 270sqm for cdc.... Not sure what I will...
The alfresco (8.6sqm), porch (2.1sqm), stairway (approx 5sqm) and service ducts (approx 0.5 to 1 sqm in total) are all e...
