Thanks Borg, confirmed what I thought. Just trying to keep the costs of 3 wall-faced close coupled toilets with soft-close lids to a minimum. Not a lot of price competition where we live so am trying to compare with other areas and look into freight. I think best to source locally for showers.

So the steam mop would be ok on T and G flooring? Clean grout will be an issue for us, we have red soil, lots of it and it stains EVERYTHING.

Currently we have a Dyson DC19 with the turbine head (not motorised). We also have 2 chinchilla kittens. They are very fluffy and are starting to shed alot of fur/hair. Also they love chasing and playing with each other which causes more of their fur to fall out. The Dyson does an okay job of picki...

I am on the Northern Beaches of Cairns.... I seem to remember you are up on the Tablelands somewhere, right? I'm sure I'd recognise that red dirt anywhere... hehehe Yep, building in Tolga. I don't think you are being very fussy at all. You pay for a certain quality so you expect a certain quality. We are spending big $$$$ on these new houses and sometimes near enough is not good enough. Stick to your guns for what is important to you.
