The paint companies do have dried film thickness specs in the product info sheets, did they provide that info and does it match No, we were not provided with this so I don't know. But I DO KNOW we have undercoat showing on walls, skirts and archs!

We have been in our new home just on 12 months and are still "fighting" to get a decent paint job. Our contract stated 3 coats of paint on timber and 2 coats on walls. We paid an extra $2,250 for a 3rd coat on the walls. From the moment we walked into our new dwelling, the painting has bee...

Just saw your post! We also wanted feedback about Bartlett Homes, but there was none. But we took the chance and am SO glad we did. We had been 23 weeks with another company but they just couldn't get our plans right. Fortunately, because it was our own house design, we were able to take the work th...

Thank you so much. That is exactly what we thought. We have paid $2,400 which we are prepared to lose.... they have done plans for us BUT they are inaccurate and now ( 8 weeks later) we find out that the house won't actually fit how we want it to on the block! Although the Council allows 900mm to t...

This may be too late for you ( I only recently discovered this web site and am absolutely loving the honesty and ideas people have!) We have been in negotiations for MONTHS with Perry Homes and overall are very disappointed with the lack of customer focus. We have waited WEEKS at a time with absolut...

TOTALLY YES. I know this is an older post, but maybe, like me, someone is looking for opinions. Bought mine just over 12 months ago - it turns off when it thinks it is overheating so temperature fluctuates all the time. I was super aware of scratching it and was diligent in using the RIGHT products ...

I have mine sitting on a metal cabinet that was bought about a month after I bought my front loader. I found the bending down to look inside for the lost sock a nuisance, and have not regretted raising the washing machine. The big drawer is just fantastic - you can never have too much storage! The d...

We have paid a deposit to guarantee a kitchen upgrade package. We had a Preliminary Tender (1) with plans drawn up and needed to make LOTS of changes (they put in things we did not request and omitted things we requested). The Formal Tender (2) came back (no new plans) but it still needed work. Next...
