Hi Scott, The best fix is ripping out and relaying the raised panel. And make sure that they bolt the new panel to the garage so that it doesnt raise again. Give or take a little. Its roughly $70/sqm for plain or $110/sqm for exposed aggregate. Then you have excavation and drain installation on top of that.

The vast majority of homes ever built do not have concrete paving all around them. Its not a building necessity and not something you need to stop damage happening its just something that lessens the chance of damp problems which should be a small risk anyway on a properly constructed property. That's interesting, I've never seen a total pebble aggregate mix. Could you post a pic?
