There are way too many variables to this to give a concrete answer. Those variables include: Size of home Insulation efficacy Heat retention in roof cavity Ducting quality Temperature outside How your outdoor unit is oriented(e.g. are you recirculating hot exhaust becaude you installed the unit faci...

Is it a HIA contract or a NSW Home building contract for work over $20,000? if its the NSW home building contract, check clause 11 - The contractor must provide a copy of any relevant invoice, receipt or other document evidencing the purchase price o...

that said they cant on one hand claim commercial sensitivity and then offer you to view them, its contradictory. In anycase, go to their office and vie wthe invoices. if you have concerns to their legitimacy follow up with the vendor. Take a note of the invoice number, date and amount on your phones...

they're offering you to see the invoices. They just don't want to send you copies. What's the problem? If you wanted to verify the invoices if you suspect they were bunk, you could call the company while you are in the builders office viewing the invoice and ask them if the figures match right in fr...

after reading all of this, i still don't understand the motivation of any party mentioned to do what's been described here. This all seems like it would have taken more effort to do than just work to the agreed original and approved plans.

id imagine that with the wide pits, evaporation will take care of the residual water relatively quickly in Brisbane weather. if they are too shallow, then they would not operate as per design, which is to catch and hold silt from entering the main system. I think you're over thinking the actual desi...

Last thing to considder, an additional separate WC (Or separating the one out from the main bathroom) it's useful when th3 bathroom is engaged and somone needs a pee. Is it just me or have you missed a laundry or is it 5here behind the kitchen? I think your kitchen and guest ensuite are too small. 600mm is standard large cabinet depth. Standard depths are 600, 450 and 300 depth for overheads. Trust me, maintaining a pantry in 600mm cupboards is a PITA. It sounds good, but in practice you end up digging for stuff you need. 600mm cabinets are for pots, pans, drawers, crockery etc. Personally I'...

Given the level of rainfall during some of the storms Brisbane has seen in the last decade, I'd question whether getting a smaller capacity pit is a good idea. Is it just that you don't want to di...
