Provide the slab isn't damaged during demolition, and it can be certified as fit for purpose. (OT...We've built on top of old basements.) You will need to have the existing Slab and footing details and an engineer will need to sign off. Single storey house is around $15K to demolish hth Thanks mate...

We use raft on a sand bed at $25m3 why would you bother with polystyrene void formers at $50m3 in perth? If you are an OB, then you would obviously get to tell your engineer what you would prefer, and they would ultimately decide depending on if WP would work on your site.
