Wall upon entering the front doorFeng Shui

My property has a wall upon entering the front door, pretty close, about 2-3 steps from the front door. Apparently this is a bad Feng Shui to have a wall too close and perpendicular from the front door. What remedy can be done? How about a painting on the wall? What kind of painting?

House across from a Golf Course?Feng Shui

Is there a problem with a house (North facing) situated directly across from a Golf Course? There is a tiny body of water in the golf course at the far end near the top.
