I have 25 years experience as a Concrete Contractor in NSW. I have found Pod Slabs require less skill to construct. Most volume builders use concreters that specialise in Pod Slabs and their workers tend to be less skilled. They will do a better job of a Pod Slab than a Raft Slab. 100% recent agree!

Yes that's exactly what I'm after, but for NSW. Builder is refusing to provide invoices claiming it's commercially sensitive. They have to though if it’s written in as a provisional sum item. Any chance you can say who they are. To be honest a lot of builders don’t know how to read the contract the...

So who employed the builder and how did they get these updated engineering documents to build from? Have you had someone come out and cost the remediation work for you? Isn't that your goal, to ultimately get the works complying with regulations? As already stated, the Council, in their role of 'Re...

Hi there What is there reasoning why they haven't applied for the permit? Is it because they got too many builds on the go? Sorry didn't tag you It doesn't surprise me. I think all those grants have really stretched the builders. I know one building company I spoke to while doing my search to find ...
