They did get the licence! I am so looking forward to being able to walk over the road for a drink or a meal and not have to argue who's going to drive home :D :: :: :D How long have you been in the area Lorraine? When I purchased my block in October last year I got told that the tavern hasn't even been finalised as the owner said they won't build it unless they're allowed to have pokies and a tab. We've had our redi blinds up for 2 months now, they don't keep the light out as such but as a temporary measure I think they're great, I love the look on peoples faces when they come round and I tell them the blinds are made of paper  Sadly though our new neighbours went to the local Bunnings t...

We've been living in Flaxen Hills road for 2 months now and love it! apart from having to look at that huge grey monstrosity that will one day be Safeway! Our block is 800sm and we paid just under $160,000 for it but that was nearly 2 years ago now, I expect the blocks have gone up. The road that le...

Our guys were excellent and I'm pretty sure they would build you whatever you wanted! They have some new show homes opening up on the Laurimar estate in Doreen next weekend. They're called AngelCo Homes and I can't praise them enough, we love our house!

Bugs in the wood  sorry but that sounds like a load of old tosh!!! Our bubbles are more visible when the sun comes out but every time I clean the floor I just notice more and more of the damn bubbles. Our guys told us that in the normal wear and tear of us walking around the house the bubbles...

Only just got this issue resolved  after living with the bubbles, well not bubbles really more like loads of dust trapped in the bubbles, for 2 months, the builders finally came back with their floor guy and have agreed to sort it out. I think dust must have blown in through open doors and got...

I am sooooo disappointed,, we got our keys today and officially move in to our new house tomorrow. When we got to the house this morning we could see that our timber floor was much shinier than the last time we saw it,, after having a good walk around inside it appears that about 70% of the floor is...
