Hoping to have pre-lining inspection sometime this week. I think I'll have more details once I'm there looking at things.

That's fantastic news! With the PCI checks, were you the one that picked up on all the issues or did they highlight it to you during the check? We also got a new site manger a few weeks ago (C*****). He has been great so far. The past couple of weeks have been finishing eaves, roofs, cleaning walls ...

Yes, call your internet provider to set up new connection. They will book NBN to come out. Not sure if you still have the NBN box from the old house, if not, make sure you ask for a new NBN box too. My demolition destroyed everything, NBN box and any wiring. I never lived in the old house. So I had...

With the conflicting information provided (I'm guess you are talking about the weekly updates), just curious as to what their response was? I have also noticed this - they tend to note something one week but sometimes it actually gets completed the next week.

When I first saw the 30% I was also a little shocked. Despite that, it was almost $100k lower than the Hall and Hart (like for like). We sent our build and cost details to H&H, which then went to the guy at the top - who then straight out said that they could not match that. However, worth noti...

The cynic in me is thinking they don't want to go through the whole rigmarole of having another inspection and having to spend more time fixing the 'little things' (which translate to less profit for them as they have to spend more time per build).

Hi There! We are also currently building a two-story and are half way through with bricking. Agree with your commends around the independent inspection - we ended up leaving it. We also picked up minor issues which they then rectified (at the framing stage). They were pretty good about it (but I'm g...

Sorry mind went blank for a moment. If you're looking at a standard build with minimal upgrades, I found that the project builder to be much cheaper as they can bulk buy the materials. However, I have also found that if you plan to upgrade quite a bit, then you can it works out to be similar. With t...

We chose BBH because of the standard inclusions range, and their upgrade promotion. We also loved the display house because it didn't feel like all of the other project cookie cutter houses. It had a bit of architecture and points of difference. Our build hasn't started yet, we are KDR and have ten...

Thanks for reply. Yeah, the other idea is to tender front then paint the side and back with same colour. But then not sure if that will make the place look half baked 🤔

Hi all, With a constraint on the budget, we are considering the option of rendering the front only vs no tendering. Would like to hear everyone's option on this please? I'm based in Sydney area. I read a post from a few years back, but would like to hear if views have since changed. Cheers.

Thanks so much betterman. Did you take a picture of each room say that everything can go or did you Los everything individually? With things like doors and whatnot, I'm guess you can only sell those on the day if demolition? Cheers

I just used the keywords "demolition sale money" and returned the following from several others. Adding Gumtree and Facebook to the keywords used should also work. https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=98258&p=1866421&hilit=demolition+sale+money#p1866421 https://fo...

Hi All, Before a demolition for a knock down rebuild, has anyone tried to sell whatever they can from the existing house? If so, what were you able to sell? I recall reading a build journey somewhere and they mentioned they sold as much as they could before demolition. Cheers.
