With the hot humid climate (Cairns) i wonder if this trial is going to work ? :th: :th: This is a valid thought...how many homes in Cairns are built for natural cooling??? Most of the houses i see are packed like sardines !!!! i wonder if the computer software that calculates the energy efficiency ...

i think the unit was between $2000-3000 with tubing and outlet, but you have to supply your own inlet cowl.

Electrical resistance heating is the most expensive method. Wood or gas is usually cheaper. Electrical radiant floors may be more suited for briefly used areas like bathroom. I am interested in a one of these units which uses heat collected in the roof space and circulated thru ducting into the house. There have been other talk about them which is interesting but I would like to hear from someone or know someone who has one? I have been told that they are very popular i...

are you going to use carbon filters ? if so they are rated to 2000L (10" models) so i would only filter the drinking water only as close as possible to the tap. Also by filtering the water with carbon filters DOES NOT make the water potable.

can you post the hydraulic design ? Can you somebody explain why I need it and when it gets full or clogged what happens then? you need it for your waste, if you can't connect to town supply. they 'should' not get full or clogged, if the design is correct (soil test, water usage etc) but if they do ...

i think you can as long as the electrical conduit meets the depth requirements. for example, have the electrical at 600mm add sand then electrical tape, then add soil to about 300mm depth, then add your water pipe on top. Hi all, Does anyone know if I have to run electrical wiring and plumbing underground in separate trenches.. hopefully not. They will be running from our house to the water tanks ( and back ). how about an outdoor hotwater tap. I have put one outdoor but i have never seen any one else do it before. Yep, i've got a tempered tap near the garage :) overall, i've got 8 external taps.
