There are many pest control companies that can maintain your termite management system, so shop around. Termite management system requires annual inspections or the warranty is void. Not sure which section this belongs under. But during handover, Allcastle told me that Flick was the only one that could do termite control, I have since seen other company cars on the road indicating they also do that. So do i need to stick with Flick or is any of the others ok? Are the other compa...

As for ur downpipes, maybe check with the plumber that did the hydraulics. Might be something hes already charged u for

Ull get the unused portion of that provision back. They were at least honest with me when i made changes to plans. Smaller window in a room, standard brick pattern on a pillar and such. They refunded me money for those, but even if they hadnt i would have been none the wiser

Overall i think allcastle is decent, mistakes were made but they corrected as soon as i pointed it out. They tend to stick to the contract and if u want to deviate from that, u will have to pay. For example, when i wanted them to just leave the skirting as is and not install them, they wanted 1k for...

Build was completed in 2021. And yes we got a separate plumber in for the hydraulic part. I used one of the plumber they recommended. Could have used any other plumber but they were all droning on about the cost being in the 8-10k range. Their recommended plumber did the whole thing for about 3.5k, ...

Strange, our hydraulic sounds similar but they just connected the down pipes to the hydraulic. Not sure why they left it like that

The mains connection is standard across the board i think. Everyone needs to get a level 2 electrician in to connect it unless u specify in contract for them to connect. In which case they will charge extra

Hi guys and girls We are about to do concrete paving (100mm thick) around the house, using 32 mpa, with plans to build a 1.5x2m x0.8m high fish tank on it later. My question is would i need a footing under where the bricks will go? And if so is extra 100mm sufficient? I am limited by depth of footin...

You really need an engineer to specify the detail of how it is joined, don’t necessarily need to pull it out altogether, there would be a way around it. If it is a small distance on council land it probably doesn’t matter too much. Its a total length of 7.5m. The idea is to dig a trench next to it,...

He needs to pull it up and reconstruct the footing Is there a law that i can use to force him to do that? I really want it pulled up and redone but hes adamant it will be sufficient with rebar reinforcement.

Hi Just want to ask about footing for brick fence. He doesnt want to dig it up and do a new one but instead is going to dig and put...

Just take a wander past the gates when tradies are onsite, but somewhere they can't see you. Take a quick look at the lock (usually a combination lock), the right combination should still be shown as they never change it until they lock it back up. Best tip I ever got I fully intend to do that but ...
I fully intend to do that but havent seen a single person there in the 5-6 times im there. Will keep trying though
