Hi All, I know this is a Wisdom thread, We are building a Hoot Home (Owned by Wisdom) I've been following this thread for a couple of months and I'm really glad I found it because we are first home buyers and it has given me a lot of insight to building. We are building the Bronx 24 with Hampshire ...

@sv_reddy Your inspector's recommendation needs to be followed by Wisdom Homes. To ensure this happens I suggest holding up the progress payment. Ask them to confirm (in writing) how the defective work will be fixed, and by a specific date when. Get the inspector to check their response is reasonab...

@sv_reddy The Houspect report needs to confirm that the slab is set out per the building plans, and it complies with all relevant building standards. Ensure you you confirm this before paying Wisdom's progress invoice. If the slab has any problems you will need to formally dispute that payment is d...

@M4bath Per the Wisdom Homes contract requirements the EOT must explain what work was delayed and why. Otherwise its not valid. You need to question it in writing if you don't believe or accept this extension. Thankyou @Norfolk, and I agree with you. They made an innocent (or cheeky) mistake two da...

Hi, When is "Extension of Time Delays(EOT)" aka rain days count is supposed to start? I mean after the slab? or before? We have received an email from Wisdom mentioning they are claiming EOT delays for two days, the dates of which are two days prior to our land excavation.
