Cut out concrete rectangle from downpipes to exposed aggregate concrete, extend drain to the middle of the area (low spot) and re concrete making sure it drains into outlet. I recently installed a pavement/apron around the house. I noticed there are two large water puddles after a rain. I talked with the concreter and he agreed to fix them, but did not specify how he would fix them. What would be a proper long term solution for these issues? I would like to have some id...

I recently had a concrete apron done around the house. But the concreter has not put a Ableflex layer between the house and the concrete. Is this really necessary? I'm concerned about water running between the concrete and the wall causing problems to the structure. The soil is class P. Thanks
