Nice detail insulation work there. Have you seen these garage door edge sealing systems? The garage can really stuff up our home insulation performance. Hearing good things about them and, apparently, they are not overly expensive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FI1aWhtBvwg

Back into the laminates, myself. Wonderful choices, now. Doesn't lead to automatic divorce when somebody buggers up the bench top surface. Love how, in a life-time home - one can resurface the cabinets, say, 10 years in and get a new lease of life for the room.

Replaced the ground based tank once and a couple of pressure-release valves on the roof collectors. Only replaced it when gas came to our area and we went with an ...

Or we can always just take a chance and shove the garden and mulch and paving up against the slab. No worries.. What are the stats for Oz, 1 on 3 or 1 in 4 houses have the 'ol termites. One of the things I love about modern Oz houses is where you have these brick columns with timber inside supportin...

I keep on saying I won't say this anymore. But. That concrete slab edge you can see is your number one termite control mechanism. We do not cover it with earth or pavers or anything. It's how we monitor for termite tunnel-building on slab edge. So, after you rake all the earth out flat, the position...

With these crushed stone type physical termite systems we'll probably find that there is also a plastic strip laid into the brick courses designed to prevent termites tunnelling up inside the structure. The critical thing with these systems and their typical warranties is to recognise the requiremen...
