@champs2018 I agree 100% with @Funk52 In addition, I recommend accompanying your inspector on his visit. Make sure you understand everything on his list. Also do a 2nd visit before PCI with your own checking tools to be sure. What you should push Wisdom to rectify and minor issues you might accept ...

Can someone suggest on the driveway please? We got a quote that says colour sealing and fleck spray which are quite expensive from what was initially told. What are these and are they helpful?

Agree. Although I think most of the conversations before was during the admin stage because that's where we were all trying to "guesstimate" cost and not get a bill shock. Seems like not many left in the construction phase... anyone left beside myself? I'm at the tail end of the outside c...

Not a lot of active comments on this thread like before. We were meant to have handover in February. Looks like we will definitely be missing that time which is disappointing. People who appointed houspect for independant inspection, how important or valuable was their service for waterproofing inspection?? Their charges seem to vary if we get waterproofing as part of inspection and hence any inputs will help us decide if it's worth the extra money.

Hello All, Our file has finally reached production estimation today. The email from CSR states to clear the land of any grown grass or plants. Isn't it Wisdom's responsibility to clean and start?? We noticed that our outdoor leisure stacking door is shorter than all our ground floor doors. We got to know the height difference only in construction plan door schedule. If we increase it now, will it be a variation and need DA approval? Is that a structural change?

Hi Champs2018, MandM is right. There may be council requirements and basix. The basix that is included in contract is just the standard basix requirements. Your tender will outline what is included. An external basix company will go over your plans and may or may not add costs, in order to comply. ...
